New ORA Summer Pistol league


Info for the ORA Summer 2023 10mt Air Pistol and 20yd Pistol leagues.


If you want to have a go, please ask Colin, Luke, Bob or Pat.




Club Air Pistols are available to use for those without their own.


Individual 10m Air Pistol League Summer 2023


Entries are invited from members of affiliated clubs to compete in an individual 10 metre air pistol postal league.


Competitors will shoot in divisions according to their averages, based either on last

season’s average or best five of last six courses of fire ex. 200.


The average for each shooter must be quoted to one decimal place.

Each division will have 6 competitors, each person shoots against the other 5 twice.

2 points for a win. 1 point for a draw.

Medals will be awarded to the winners of each division.


Each round will consist of 5 shots on each of 4 targets (air 4/89)

20 shots in all within a 45 minute period.


Any .177 calibre air / co pistol with open sights and a trigger that supports a 500g load.



Individual 20y Air Pistol League Summer 2023


Entries are invited from members of affiliated clubs to compete in an individual 20yd Pistol league.


Competitors will shoot in divisions according to their averages, based either on last season’s (.177 / .22lr calibre) average or best five of last six courses of fire ex. 200 on ( 20yd PL12 ) targets.


The average for each shooter must be quoted to one decimal place.


Each division will have 6 competitors, each person shoots against the other 5 twice.

2 points for a win. 1 point for a draw.

Medals will be awarded to the winners of each division.


Each round will consist of 10 shots on each of 2 targets ( 20yd PL12 ) 20 shots in all. Each card shot within a 10 minute period, ie. 20 minutes actual shooting time for both.


Any .177 calibre air / co2 pistol or .22lr Long barrelled pistol with open sights. Trigger any weight.
